This policy explains what personal data Mia Karolys ("The Empress", "I", "me") collects when you visit miakarolys.com or book a reading or ritual, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

What I collect

• Booking and payment details: your name, email, and payment information when you pay through Stripe, PayPal or Revolut. Card details are handled by these providers; I never see or store your full card number.
• What you send me for your reading or ritual: your name, a photo, your question or intention, and any messages you send me on WhatsApp, Instagram or email.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, the hosting provider and font service automatically process your IP address and browser information so the page can load.
• Visit statistics: anonymous, cookie-free counts of page views (for example, which country visitors come from), so I can see how the website is doing. No personal profile is built.

Why I use it

• To perform the reading or ritual you booked and to send you the results (contract).
• To take payment and keep records required by Greek tax law (legal obligation).
• To answer your questions and keep the website running and secure (legitimate interest).

I never sell your data, and I never use your photo or story publicly. If I would like to share a testimonial from you, I will ask first.

Who else processes it

• Stripe, PayPal, Revolut: payments.
• Netlify: website hosting.
• Google Fonts: website typefaces.
• Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram): messages you choose to send there.

Some of these companies may process data outside the EU under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long I keep it

• Photos and intentions you send for a ritual: deleted within 30 days after your ritual or reading is finished, unless you ask me to keep them for follow-up work.
• Payment and invoice records: kept for as long as Greek tax law requires.
• Messages: kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Write to contact@miakarolys.com and I will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The payment pages of Stripe, PayPal and Revolut have their own cookie and privacy policies.
